YEREVAN, November 1. \/ARKA\/. <\/strong>Since 2019, the Tormak guest house has been operating on the road leading to the Stepanavan dendropark and has become one of the favorite places for tourists. According to Acba Bank’s press service, the guest house, named after the Tormak Monastery in Gyulagarak village, required expansion due to a rising number of guests each year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The guest house “Tormak” is one of the beneficiaries of the ACBA Federation and the “Rural Tourism Development Program” of the German Nature Conservation Union (NABU). Thanks to the provided grant, it became possible to expand the guest house by adding a two-story room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe idea of adding a second room came to us when we realized we were losing customers due to limited space. We decided that a second, separate room was necessary. This idea had been on our minds for some time, but without the support of the Acba Federation and the NABU program, I\u2019m not sure we could have made it happen. We also offer our guests a complimentary tour, which includes a car ride to a mountain farm, where they can walk, enjoy beautiful views, and experience the local way of life,\u201d said Vruyr Ayvazyan, founder of the Tormak Guest House.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The most active season for the guest house is during pine pollination, when the forests release special substances that are highly beneficial for respiratory health. Tormak Guest House is known for its warm, family-like atmosphere and unique charm, attracting guests who return every year. Acba Federation is the primary shareholder of Acba Bank, holding over 81% of its shares. Through its partnership with Acba Bank, the Federation contributes to the development of agriculture, small and medium-sized businesses, and community revitalization in rural areas across Armenia.
