{"id":17792,"date":"2010-12-08T09:13:01","date_gmt":"2010-12-08T09:13:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2010\/12\/08\/231964\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T12:49:13","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T12:49:13","slug":"total-of-868-2-million-remitted-to-armenia-from-russia-in-jan-oct","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2010\/12\/08\/17792\/","title":{"rendered":"Total of $868.2 million remitted to Armenia from Russia in Jan.-Oct."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, December 8, \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> A total of $868.2 million were remitted to Armenia from Russia via the banks as non-commercial individual money transfers in the first ten months of 2010, by 14.1% more from a year before, the Central Bank of Armenia said in its information bulletin for October 2010, posted on its official website.<\/p>\n<p>The volume of remittances from Armenia to Russia contracted by 21.6% year-on-year to $127 million from $162 million. As a result the net inflow of remittances from Russia amounted to $741.2 million, rising by 23.8% year-on-year.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Central Bank, a total of $1.267.3 billion were remitted to Armenia in Jan.-Oct. this year as individual money transfers through banks, dropping by 3% year-on-year. The volume of remittances from Armenia to other countries fell by 4.7% to $580 million. The net inflow was $687.2 million, falling by 1.4% .
