YEREVAN, January 17. \/ARKA\/. No transactions on January 17 in NASDAQ OMX Armenia.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt can be explained by two factors. First, commercial banks preferred inter-banking transactions where rather high rate is registered \u2013 buy-sale of foreign currency in the stock exchange by 366.75 drams per $1. Second, stock exchange participants were concentrated in the auction of 39-week bonds\u201d, explained analyst of Forex Club Mikael Verdyan to \u201cARKA news agency\u201d.<\/p>\n

The last transaction by foreign currency was registered on January 14 when the weighted average US dollar rate was 365.5 drams per $1.<\/p>\n

Mid-market rates as of January 17 are $1 \u2013 365.01, \u20ac1 \u2013 484.22 drams. .–0\u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n
