YEREVAN, January 19. \/ARKA\/. The company \u201cINGO-ARMENIA\u201d covers about 20% of the Armenian market of mandatory car insurance, said responsible actuary of the company Hayk Zaimtsyan.<\/p>\n
The company has already registered about 60 thousand contracts of mandatory car insurance. Process of car insurance polis will finish in February.<\/p>\n
Zaimtsyan informed that currently \u201cINGO-ARMENIA\u201d has paid 4 million drams for compensation.<\/p>\n
This amount was paid by facilitated regime of compensation which assumes payment by the agreement between the parties in the amount of 200 thousand drams. Compensation process exceeding 200 thousand drams has not started yet as relevant expertise is being conducted.<\/p>\n
From January 1, 2011, 240 calls on car accidents was registered. In some cases car owners insured in \u201cINGO-ARMENIA\u201d were guilty and in some cases \u2013 clients of the company acted as sufferers.<\/p>\n
Many car accidents were registered in the first days of January due to by bad weather and holidays.<\/p>\n
On Wednesday, \u201cINGO-ARMENIA\u201d paid insurance compensation in the amount of 178 thousand drams for car accidents where the driver insured in the company was guilty.<\/p>\n
Mandatory car insurance was introduced from January 1, 2011 in Armenia with the aim of compensation payment to the sufferers in the result of using transport means, as well as protection of sufferers rights.<\/p>\n
