Armenian commercial banks bought a total of $73.2 million between February 28-March 4 at the local forex market at the average exchange rate of 366.55 Drams per $1, the Central Bank of Armenia said.<\/p>\n<p>In the same time span they sold a total of $77.1 million at the average weighted exchange rate of 367.79 Drams per $1.<\/p>\n<p>The aggregate volume of deals in USD effected at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange in the same time span totaled $27.63 million at the average weighted exchange rate of 367.9 Drams per one USD. The volume of deals at inter-bank forex market totaled $1.87 million at the average exchange rate 367.18 Drams per $1.<\/p>\n<p>Also on February 21-29 Armenian banks extended 22.5 billion Drams loans in the national currency and $48.6 million loans in USD.
