{"id":20825,"date":"2011-03-16T08:27:10","date_gmt":"2011-03-16T08:27:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2011\/03\/16\/232530\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T12:50:24","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T12:50:24","slug":"hsbc-bank-armenia-named-best-foreign-exchange-provider-in-armenia-by-global-finance-magazine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2011\/03\/16\/20825\/","title":{"rendered":"HSBC Bank Armenia named &#8220;Best Foreign Exchange Provider&#8221; in Armenia by Global Finance magazine"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, March 16, \/ARKA\/. <\/strong>HSBC Bank Armenia cjsc was named the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hsbc.am\/1\/2\/en\/about-us\/media-room\/awards-and-rankings\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;Best Foreign Exchange Provider&#8221;<\/a> in Armenia by Global Finance magazine (New York) in the category &#8220;World&#8217;s Best Foreign Exchange Providers 2011,&#8221; the press service of the bank told ARKA news agency.<\/p>\n<p>It said criteria for selecting the best currency trading providers in 86 countries included transaction volume, market share, scope of global coverage, customer service, competitive pricing and innovative technologies.<\/p>\n<p>According to it, HSBC Armenia is one of the leaders in the Armenian foreign exchange market with its annual FX turnover for 2010 composing around US$ 2 billion. The bank currently trades in 12 currencies, which are most demanded by customers in Armenia. However, thanks to HSBC&#8217;s global network and presence in 87 countries and territories, the bank can provide FX solutions in a large variety of major and minor currencies at customer&#8217;s request.<\/p>\n<p>According to Irina Seylanyan Head of Global Banking and Markets, Deputy Chief Executive Officer HSBC Bank Armenia cjsc, &#8220;Economic problems and monetary tightening cause volatility in the foreign exchange markets all over the world. So, in HSBC we always strive to be customers&#8217; choice for a strong and knowledgeable FX bank to help them coping with the turbulence in the markets.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>She said it is also important to the bank to meet customers expectations in terms of introducing new FX products and technologies to the market.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Recently we introduced to the Armenian clients cross-boarder trade settlements and accounts in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hsbc.am\/1\/2\/en\/business\/general-banking-services\/inward-outward-remittances\/yuan\" target=\"_blank\">Chinese RMB (Yuan)<\/a>.
