Ashot Osipyan, board chairman and executive director of Araratbank, was elected today unanimously chairman of the Union of Armenian Banks.<\/p>\n<p>He has replaced Ararat Ghukasian, executive director of Byblos Bank Armenia, who was elected in 2009 November.<\/p>\n<p>The Union of Armenian Banks was set up in 1995 succeeding to the Association of Armenian Banks.
