YEREVAN, March 22. \/ARKA\/<\/strong>. Individual deposits at Anelik Bank grew 52.8% or by AMD 3.8 billion over 2010 reaching AMD 11.3 billion by late December, the bank\u2019s press office reported on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis growth shows public confidence in the bank,\u201d the press office quoted Gayane Malkhasyan, chief of the bank\u2019s division in charge of serving clients, as saying. \u201cRemarkable is that the deposit portfolio grew when interests were not so high. This shows clients\u2019 confidence in the bank.\u201d<\/p>\n

The most demanded deposit was the Secured deposit, which let depositors withdraw the whole amount or a part of it whenever they want with an appropriate month\u2019s interests.
\nAccording to ARKA News Agency\u2019s data, the bank\u2019s assets totaled AMD 60.1 billion and liabilities AMD 44.4 billion by late December, 2010.<\/p>\n

Its total capital amounted to AMD 15.7 billion and credit portfolio AMD 29.7 billion.<\/p>\n

The bank\u2019s full year net profit amounted to AMF 535.5 million. Anelik Bank was established on July 9, 1990, and registered on October 1, 1991.<\/p>\n

In October 1996, the bank received its license from the Central Bank of Armenia.<\/p>\n

CreditBank S.A.L. holds 51% of the bank\u2019s shares, 12.25% belong to Samvel Chzmachyan, 12.25% to Arthur Arakelyan, 12.25% to Armen Ghazaryan and 12.25% to Galina Voronina.<\/p>\n

In 1997, the bank established own payment system called Anelik, which operates in its 63,000 outlets in 90 countries.
\nAnelik Bank is the only bank in Armenia to have subsidiary in Russia. It is Anelik Ru.<\/p>\n

The bank cooperates with all international credit programs operating in Armenia\u2019s territory.<\/p>\n
