Ameriabank, 2. Araratbank, 3. ACBA-Credit Agricole  Bank; 4.Bank VTB (Armenia) and 5. Inecobank.<\/p>\n<p>In the table of press rating of  Armenian banks for the I quarter went 21 commercial banks. During the quarter,  the overall outcome index (AIS), which characterizes the amount of information  depending on its direction, was 5105.6, an increase compared with that of the  first quarter of 2010 to 29.7% (AIS of all banks in the first quarter of 2010  amounted to 3.935 , 6).<\/p>\n<p>The overall outcome index of five leading banks,  press rating in the I quarter of 2011 increased compared to the same period in  2010, 2.412.7 to 2.950.6. In this case, Ameriabank reached 987.0 against 894.6  in the I quarter of 2010, Araratbank &#8211; 571.6 vs. 479.3, ACBA-Credit Agricole  Bank &#8211; 515.2 vs. 105.1, VTB Bank (Armenia) \u2013 474. 5 vs. 30.8 and Inecobank &#8211;  402.4 vs. 310.1.<\/p>\n<p>The biggest leap in terms of growth was observed during the  reporting period &#8211; VTB Bank (Armenia), whose total index (TI) grew by 1440.5%.  The Bank also recorded the greatest progress in the rankings table, rising from  14<sup>th<\/sup> place in the first quarter of 2010 to 4<sup>th<\/sup> place.  Closing the top five, Inecobank moved from 7<sup>th<\/sup> place to the  5<sup>th<\/sup>, recording growth of TI by 29.8%.<\/p>\n<p>In the I quarter of 2010,  the leaders of the press ranking of ARKA were: Ameriabank (894.6 TI), Araratbank  (479.3), HSBC Bank Armenia (381.8), Ardshininvestbank (338.9) and Unibank  (318.1).<\/p>\n<p>Since 2010, the press-rating of news agency ARKA greatly facilitated  and simplified. In particular, all subheadings were eliminated, and selected a  total of 9 categories, which sorts the information. Removal of subheadings made  the given product more readable. Customers can now find the necessary  information, distributed in specific categories.<\/p>\n<p>It should also be noted that  for the selection of informative signals the following publications are used:  &#8220;Golos Armenii&#8221;, &#8220;Respublika Armenia&#8221;, &#8220;Novoye Vremya&#8221;, &#8220;Delovoy Express&#8221;,  &#8220;Hayastani Hanrapetutyun&#8221;, &#8220;AZG&#8221;, &#8220;Aravot&#8221;, \u201cHaykakan Zhamanak\u201d , \u201cHayots  Ashkhar\u201d, \u201cIravunk\u201d,&#8221;Yerkir&#8221;, &#8220;168 Zham&#8221;, &#8220;Capital&#8221;, &#8220;Sobesednik Armenii&#8221;,&#8221;  Zhoghovurd &#8220;,&#8221; Zhamanak, and Internet portals of news agencies and electronic  media. As electronic resources the portals Panarmenian, ARKA, Newsarmenia,  Armbanks, Banker, Arminfo, Panorama and Lragir are selected.<\/p>\n<p>Press-rating of  news agency ARKA is calculated not by the financial-economic indicators, but by  the facts of banking activity which is reported in the media. As a result, the  higher the degree of actual knowledge of the bank&#8217;s activities, the better its  communicative policy.
