Individual money transfers from Russia to Armenia via banks in 2011 February grew by 16% from January to $66 million, the Central Bank of Armenia said today in its monthly bulletin for February.<\/p>\n<p>It said money transfers from Armenia to Russia also grew by 75.4% to $12.7 million, up from $7.2 million in January.<\/p>\n<p>According to official statistics, a total of $122.7 million arrived as individual remittances from Russia to Armenia in the first two months of 2011, rising from $94.2 million in the first two months of 2010. The growth amounted to 30.3%.<\/p>\n<p>At that money transfers from Armenia to Russia in Jan.-Feb. 2011 grew by 18.7% from a year earlier to $19.9 million.
