{"id":22027,"date":"2011-04-15T11:30:27","date_gmt":"2011-04-15T11:30:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2011\/04\/15\/232778\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T12:50:55","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T12:50:55","slug":"imf-official-says-making-forecasts-about-drams-behavior-extremely-difficult","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2011\/04\/15\/22027\/","title":{"rendered":"IMF official says making forecasts about dram\u2019s behavior extremely difficult"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, April 15, \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> International Monetary Fund (IMF) Resident Representative to Armenia, Guillermo Tolosa, said today it was extremely difficult to make forecasts about the behavior of Armenia\u2019s national currency, the dram.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking at a news conference he said the IMF believes that the Central Bank of Armenia (CBA) remains faithful to the policy of floating exchange rate demonstrated now by devaluating Dram.<\/p>\n<p>Over the last week the Dram lost several p.p. against USD and is trading now at 376.02 According to some experts, it may devaluate as much as to 380-400 per one USD.
