{"id":22467,"date":"2011-04-28T13:22:18","date_gmt":"2011-04-28T13:22:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2011\/04\/28\/232844\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T12:51:04","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T12:51:04","slug":"money-stock-of-armenias-central-bank-commercial-banks-credit-organizations-grows-to-amd-925-9-billion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2011\/04\/28\/22467\/","title":{"rendered":"Money stock of Armenia\u2019s Central Bank, commercial banks, credit organizations grows to AMD 925.9 billion"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, April 28. \/ARKA\/. <\/strong>The money stock of Armenia\u2019s Central Bank, commercial banks and credit organizations grew 3.5% in March 2011, compared with the previous month, to AMD 925.9 billion.<\/p>\n<p>According to the information available on the central bank\u2019s official website, the national currency in circulation reached AMD 278.2 billion by late March after growing by 0.6% since late February.<\/p>\n<p>Cash makes up about 30% of the money stock.<\/p>\n<p>Other components of the money stock are time and demand deposits as well as deposits in foreign currencies, which constitute 11.2%, 13.7% and 45.1% of the money stock respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Time deposits grew by 0.6% in March, compared with February, to AMD 103.2 billion, demand deposits by 7.5% to AMD 126.9 billion and deposits in foreign currencies by 4.6% to AMD 418.7 billion.
