{"id":22511,"date":"2011-04-29T09:50:09","date_gmt":"2011-04-29T09:50:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2011\/04\/29\/232858\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T12:51:06","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T12:51:06","slug":"the-volume-of-deposits-attracted-by-armenian-banks-increased-by-4-9-to-754-9-billion-drams-in-march","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2011\/04\/29\/22511\/","title":{"rendered":"The volume of deposits attracted by Armenian banks increased by 4.9% to 754.9 billion drams in March"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, April 29. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> In March, Armenian commercial banks attracted deposits in the amount of about 754.9 billion drams which is by 4.9% more than last month.<\/p>\n<p>As noted in the report of the Central Bank of Armenia, deposits of residents in drams and foreign currency were 629.4 billion drams<\/p>\n<p>(83.4% from total amount of attracted deposits) and deposits from non-residents were 125.4 billion drams \u2013 16.6% from total deposits.<\/p>\n<p>It is worth mentioning that residents in March made deposits by foreign currency.<\/p>\n<p>Thus, by the end of March, deposits in foreign currency were 412.8 billion drams (65.6% of all attracted deposits of residents) which is more by 5.3% than the last month. In March, the residents invested (34.4% of all attracted deposits of residents) which is more by 3% than in February.<br \/>\nNon-residents made foreign currency deposits in the amount of 117.4 billion drams and 7.9 billion drams \u2013 in dram deposits.
