YEREVAN, May 16. \/ARKA\/. Net cash inflow in Armenian banks totaled AMD 8.8 billion in the first quarter of this year.<\/p>\n
ARKA News Agency\u2019s analysis based on banks\u2019 quarterly reports shows that the balance of money and other means in banks amounted to AMD 294.9 million in late March 2011against AMD 297.8 billion in late December 2010.<\/p>\n
Outflow from transactions totaled AMD 3.1 billion.<\/p>\n
Investment activity took AMD 3.5 billion from banks, while financial activity brought AMD 10 billion to them.<\/p>\n
Favorable impact of changes in foreign exchange rates on banks\u2019 funds and other means amounted to AMD 5.4 billion.<\/p>\n
Ardshininvestbank\u2019s money and other means grew by AMD 8.9 billion over the quarter to AMD 29.3 billion.<\/p>\n
Areximbank \u2013 Gazprombank Group built up its funds and other means by AMD 8.6 billion to AMD 20.1 billion, Araratbank by AMD 6.7 billion to AMD 26.8 billion and Mellat Bank by AMD 4.6 billion to AMD 9.2 billion.<\/p>\n
According to ARKA News Agency\u2019s analysis, nine banks\u2019 money dwindled by AMD 30.3 billion, while 12 banks reported net inflow of AMD 39.1 billion.<\/p>\n
