The total volume of currency trading in U.S. dollars at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange in 2011 April amounted to about $73.4 million, an equivalent of about 27.5 billion drams.<\/p>\n<p>According to an ARKA analysis, based on consolidated reports of the exchange, the currency trading in April decreased by 3.4% compared to March or by $2.6 million or 562.6 million drams. The total number of transactions in April decreased by 20 if compared to March to 555 transactions.<\/p>\n<p>The largest amount of transactions at NASDAQ OMX Armenia was registered on 5 April in the amount of $8.3 million and the smallest volume of $300,000 a day earlier. During the reporting period no transactions in euro were effected. The average rate of U.S. dollar transactions at NASDAQ OMX Armenia in April was 373.86 drams for $1.
