{"id":23773,"date":"2011-05-31T12:39:04","date_gmt":"2011-05-31T12:39:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2011\/05\/31\/233128\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T12:51:39","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T12:51:39","slug":"donations-to-hayastan-all-armenian-fund-via-visa-plastic-card-to-become-possible-soon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2011\/05\/31\/23773\/","title":{"rendered":"Donations to Hayastan All Armenian Fund via Visa plastic card to become possible soon"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, May 31. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> Ara Vardanyan, executive director of the fund, speaking Tuesday at the 20<sup>th<\/sup> session of the fund trustees\u2019 board, said it would be possible to transfer donations to Hayastan All Armenian Fund by using Visa plastic cards.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ll use new fund-raising mechanisms this year,\u201d he said. \u201cIn particular, we, along with one of Armenian banks, shall try to create Visa cards called Himnadram Card for usual usage and donations to the fund concurrently.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In his words, the service is expected to be offered this year.<\/p>\n<p>Now the fund raises money by using popular means, such as SMS-donations, postal fund raising, fund-raising dinners and concerts.<\/p>\n<p>Hayastan All Armenian Fund was established in 1992 for implementation of national projects and development of infrastructures in Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh  Republic.<\/p>\n<p>The trustees\u2019 board headed by the Armenian president includes respected representatives of Armenian communities worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>The fund holds charity telethons every year.
