YEREVAN, May 31. \/ ARKA \/.<\/strong> Armenia\u2019s gross international currency reserves slashed by 5% (or $93.7 million) in April from the beginning of the year, to $1.765.3 billion, the Central Bank of Armenia reported.<\/p>\n

It said assets in convertible currency fell by 4.8% from 2010 December (or by $87.5 million) to $1.738 billion as of late April 2011. Armenia\u2019s special drawing rights (SDR) at IMF dropped to $27.3 million from $33.5 million in late December 2010. -0-<\/p>\n
