{"id":24164,"date":"2011-06-09T12:12:32","date_gmt":"2011-06-09T12:12:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2011\/06\/09\/233204\/"},"modified":"2024-12-15T12:51:47","modified_gmt":"2024-12-15T12:51:47","slug":"ebrd-plans-to-buy-stakes-in-armenian-companies-in-2011","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2011\/06\/09\/24164\/","title":{"rendered":"EBRD plans to buy stakes in Armenian companies in 2011"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>YEREVAN, June 9. \/ ARKA \/. <\/strong>In an interview with ARKA news  agency, Valeriu Razlog, head of EBRD Yerevan Office, said the Bank was  considering the possibility of buying stakes in several Armenian  companies.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018The talks on one project with a small Armenian  company has progressed enough, and we are considering several other  proposals as well,\u2019 he said, but could not say exactly how many of them  EBRD will have at the end of the year, and what their volume will be.<\/p>\n<p>He  said the bank&#8217;s participation in the capital of Armenian companies will  be a single case as no large projects are planned. He said also the  progressed project involves the telecommunications sector, and besides,  several other projects in the food industry and in manufacturing are  being considered.<\/p>\n<p>EBRD is one of the largest foreign investors in  Armenia.
