The workstations will be given to HSBC Armenia&#8217;s charity partner Jinishian Memorial Foundation, which will help identify and select the final beneficiaries and distribute the workstations to them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The donation has\nbeen made possible by an internal fundraising campaign by HSBC Armenia\nemployees, who wanted to help alleviate the impact of COVID-19 on vulnerable\nstudents\u2019 education. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIn this\nchallenging period, HSBC Armenia\u2019s employees have displayed heartfelt\nsolidarity and collective social responsibility by enabling vulnerable\ncommunities in the country access to remote learning. Many students whose\neducation was disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic will now be able to resume\ntheir studies and will continue making use of the workstations after the\npandemic has subsided,\u201d said Irina Seylanyan, HSBC Armenia CEO.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The donation is\nmade on top of an AMD15 million donation to the Armenian Red Cross Society\n(ARCS) to support the needs of vulnerable communities amidst the pandemic,\nannounced by HSBC Armenia earlier this month<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>HSBC Holdings plc,\nthe parent company of the HSBC Group, is headquartered in London. HSBC serves\ncustomers worldwide from offices in 65 countries and territories in our\ngeographical regions: Europe, Asia, North America, Latin America, and Middle\nEast and North&nbsp;Africa. The bank is a joint venture between the HSBC\nGroup, which has 70 per cent ownership, and a member of overseas Armenian\nbusiness with 30 per cent ownership. HSBC Armenia serves around 30 000\ncustomers through eight offices located in Yerevan and around 362 employees.
