At the end of the third quarter they dropped to&nbsp;&nbsp;$2.449.2 billion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Foreign assets accounted for the bulk of gross foreign exchange reserves &#8211; $2.606.6 billion, of which securities accounted for $1.780.5 billion and&nbsp;&nbsp;$826.1 million were cash and deposits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the same time, other foreign currency assets, as of December 2020, stood at $26.5 million. In&nbsp;&nbsp;2019, Armenia&#8217;s gross external reserves surged by 26.1%, or by about $590 million.
