YEREVAN, February 9. \/ ARKA \/. <\/strong>The Stepan Gishyan charity foundation, run by ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK, has announced today a grant competition, designed for legal entities, \u00a0the press service of the ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE \u00a0BANK reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It said the charitable foundation has started the process of accepting online applications. The deadline is March 10 inclusive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The charity said the projects should address such issues as development of socio-economic, educational and scientific fields, health and culture, or several of the above-mentioned areas at the same time. The projects must be implemented exclusively in the territory of the Republic of Armenia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The foundation will give preference to those projects that:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 promote the creation of new jobs;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 use as much local products and raw materials as possible;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 offer innovative solutions;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 are aimed at strengthening the Armenian-French relations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The maximum amount of one grant is 4,000,000 AMD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2015, ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK, French Credit Agricole, the National Federation of Credit Agricole and the family of Gishyan founded the Stepan Gishyan charitable foundation (http:\/\/foundation-gishyan.am\/)<\/a>.
ACBA was established in 1996 as part of EU\u2019s TACIS program. As a result of a long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation between ACBA Bank and the French Credit Agricole the latter became the biggest shareholder of ACBA in 2006, September.
