{"id":249775,"date":"2021-04-13T10:35:27","date_gmt":"2021-04-13T10:35:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2021\/04\/13\/249775\/"},"modified":"2021-04-13T10:35:27","modified_gmt":"2021-04-13T10:35:27","slug":"armenian-eurobonds-now-traded-on-armenia-securities-exchange","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2021\/04\/13\/249775\/","title":{"rendered":"Armenian Eurobonds Now Traded on Armenia Securities Exchange"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>YEREVAN, April 13, \/ARKA\/ <\/strong>Armenia Securities Exchange said today it has onboarded Armenian\u00a0Eurobond (ISIN: XS2010028939, Ticker: EUBDB5) to start trading on its platform.\u00a0A total of USD586.6 million in Eurobonds was placed earlier in February, 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Armenia\u2019s Ministry of Finance, acting on behalf of the Republic of Armenia, issued Eurobonds with a 10-year maturity period and a coupon rate of 3.6% which is lower than&nbsp;the&nbsp;rates of the&nbsp;previous issues.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The clearing and settlement&nbsp;of the Eurobond&nbsp;is completed&nbsp;by the Central Depository of Armenia. Through&nbsp;the well-established&nbsp;cooperation with Clearstream Banking Luxembourg, investing in the Armenian Eurobond&nbsp;becomes possible for&nbsp;Armenian investors&nbsp;as well.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Armenia\u2019s&nbsp;Eurobonds&nbsp;were first traded on&nbsp;Armenia Securities Exchange in 2014, while the 2nd bonds were admitted to trade in 2019. To invest in&nbsp;Eurobonds, one should contact&nbsp;one of the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/amx.am\/en\/25\/membership\/26\/members-market-participants\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">market&nbsp;member companies<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Armenia Securities Exchange (AMX) is the only securities regulated market operator in Armenia that also owns 100% shares of Central Depository of Armenia.
