YEREVAN, July 1. \/ARKA\/. <\/strong>The Vanadzor Museum of Fine Arts has received 20 new audio guides with the assistance of Stepan Gishyan Charitable Foundation, the press service of Acba\u00a0bank reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It said before that, in case of a large influx of tourists, it was necessary to make an appointment in advance, since the museum had only one foreign language guide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now there is no need to make arrangements in advance: all information about the museum’s exhibits has been pre-processed, translated and recorded on audio guides in Armenian, English, French and Russian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe use of audio guides is quite common in museums and this allows visitors to take a tour of the museum on their own, which increases their attractiveness. There are many visitors to the museum and often there are not enough guides to provide information about a particular painting. In such cases, audio guides come to the rescue. I am glad that audio guides have also begun to be used in the regions,” said Anna Gishyan, director of the Stepan Gishyan Charitable Foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The deputy director of the Vanadzor Museum of Fine Arts Tatevik Baghramyan said this was a good opportunity, because foreign language tours had to be arranged in advance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Now we will not have a problem with this program also for individual tourists. And most importantly, our visitors, together with the audio guide, determine their own route through the museum,” she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Stepan Gishyan Charitable Foundation was established jointly by Acba bank, French Credit Agricole, the National Federation of Credit Agricole and the family of Gishyan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Foundation’s programs are aimed at strengthening the Armenian-French relations, improving the socio-economic, scientific-educational, cultural and health systems of Armenia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
