Chairman of Central Bank of Armenia Martin Galstyan said at a press conference today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Given the substantial increase in inflationary influences from the external sector, as well as the growing&nbsp;&nbsp;inflation expectations, the Central Bank&nbsp;&nbsp;has decided today to raise the refinancing rate by 0.5% to 7.75%,\u2019 Galstayn said<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He said under these conditions, it is projected that the 12-month inflation will gradually decline and consolidate around the 4% target in the projected medium-term period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Armenia\u2019s consumer prices in October 2021 were up 9.6% compared to October 2020, according to the National Statistical Committee (NSC). Prices in 2021 November were up 1.7% compared to the previous month.
