According to the NSC, of the total public debt about $6,146,975,000 were the external debt of the government, which dropped by $141,517,000 from late August 2022, while the domestic debt in late September &nbsp;2022&nbsp;&nbsp;increased by $80,977,000 to about $3,784,600,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The government&#8217;s external debt decreased by $134,581,000 to $5,613,341,000 as of late September 30. The debt of the Central Bank decreased by about $7million to $533,634,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Of the domestic debt, some $3,368,590,000 (an increase of $45.3 million) were owed to resident holders of government bonds. Some $404.6 million were owed to holders of the government&#8217;s Eurobonds.
