{"id":250820,"date":"2023-03-20T12:58:10","date_gmt":"2023-03-20T12:58:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2023\/03\/20\/250820\/"},"modified":"2023-03-20T12:58:10","modified_gmt":"2023-03-20T12:58:10","slug":"armenia-will-get-a-e50-million-loan-from-the-opec-fund-for-climate-policy-reforms","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2023\/03\/20\/250820\/","title":{"rendered":"Armenia\u00a0will get a \u20ac50 million loan from the OPEC Fund for climate policy reforms"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>YEREVAN, March 20. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> The OPEC Fund for International Development will provide Armenia with a \u20ac50mln credit for climate policy reforms, Armenia\u2019s Public Television reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It said the loan will support measures to increase climate resilience and mitigation through a series of reforms related to energy efficiency, air quality standards, and to finance environmental impact assessments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Earlier it was reported that OPEC Fund for International Development (OFID) approved more than $300 million in new funding in the first quarter of 2023, reflecting the institution&#8217;s commitment to fulfilling its Climate Action Plan. Three of the four projects approved by the OPEC Fund&#8217;s Governing Board directly support climate finance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The OPEC Fund adopted its first dedicated climate action plan in September 2022.
