Armenian commercial banks bought a total of $73.96 million at the local forex market on July 4-9 at an average weighted exchange rate of 368.7 drams per $1, the Central Bank of Armenia reported.<\/p>\n<p>They were said to have also sold a total of $86.3 million in the same time span at 369.96 drams per $1.<\/p>\n<p>The aggregate volume of transactions in USD at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange amounted to<\/p>\n<p>$5.45 million at an average weighted exchange rate of 369.1 drams per $1. Also some $1.8 million were bought and sold in the same time span at the inter-bank forex market. Armenian banks also provided 29.7 billion drams worth loans from June 27 to July 3 in Armenian national currency and $79.1 million in USD.
