The Warsaw Stock Exchange acquired the majority stake in&nbsp;AMX&nbsp;and one of the main goals was attracting such technological solutions that would help integratete our&nbsp;capital&nbsp;market for non-residents,&#8221; Nurbekyan said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He noted&nbsp;regarding&nbsp;government bonds, the market is very developed and all the technical solutions are already&nbsp;in place&nbsp;as evidenced by the strong interest in the bond market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;We hope that the problems in the corporate&nbsp;bonds&nbsp;market&nbsp;will be resolved&nbsp;as well. But I would like to point out that the most important thing is the supply. It is important that companies are willing to work transparently and to conduct IPOs. If there is an offer, there will be business cases, then investors will come,&#8221; Nurbekyan said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Armenian Securities Exchange is the only regulating operator of the securities market in Armenia. AMX offers listing, trading, clearing and information services, as well as alternative exchange solutions. The exchange settlements are performed by the Central Depository of Armenia, which is 100% owned by AMX.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On May 24, 2022, the Board of the Central Bank of Armenia approved the purchase of AMX by the Warsaw Stock Exchange (WFB). On June 28 of the same year, Armenian Central Bank Chairman Martin Galstyan and WFB Board Chairman Marek Dietl signed an agreement on sale of controlling stake in AMX.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>WFB acquired 65.03% of AMX (967 shares), the Central Bank of Armenia holds 25.02% and the remaining 9.95% are AMX&#8217;s own shares.
