Although the issue prospectus was to be completed on October 6 this year, the bonds were bought by the public within seven days, the press service of the bank reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;The demand for the bonds significantly exceeded the supply, which once again proves the high level of confidence of the population in Unibank,&#8221; the bank said in a statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The bonds issued in the amount of AMD 1 billion and USD $5 million will be listed on the Armenian Securities Exchange AMX. The maturity of the bonds is 36 months. Coupon income will be paid quarterly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The main advantages of the bonds are high income, not subject to taxation and safety.&nbsp;According to the Armenian Law &#8220;On Guaranteeing the Compensation of Bank Deposits of Individuals&#8221;, funds raised from sale of registered bonds issued by a bank are considered a guaranteed bank deposit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Taking into account the importance of profitable and long-term investment of savings for the population and the high demand for the bonds, Unibank plans to make a new issue in the amount of AMD 1 billion within next 10 days.
