YEREVAN, October 26. \/ARKA\/. <\/strong>Russian VTB Bank has launched international money transfers enabling recipients to withdraw the cash without opening a bank account, Alexei Khranilov, head of Money Transfers Division at VTB Transactional Retail Business Department, told RBC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He said in the first stage, this service is available in Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Moldova, Mongolia, Serbia and Abkhazia. By the end of the year, the bank plans to increase the number of partner countries to 20.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One can send a money transfer through the  “VTB Online” ao on Android and in the web version, specifying the recipient’s full name and country. Money transfers are accepted in Russian rubles and paid in foreign currency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One can pick up the money at partner branches by providing the transaction number and showing their  passport. The maximum amount of one money transfer is 350 thousand rubles, monthly limit – 500 thousand rubles, commission – 1.5% of the transfer amount (minimum 100 rubles).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Mikhail Sharakin, head of the team of partner network development and integration connections at MTS Bank, the top 3 popular directions of money transfers include Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Armenia:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We see a constant demand for money transfers with cash withdrawal, but at the same time we note that for our users more convenient way of receiving are target  transfers by phone or card number”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He added that the bank has set up about 90 direct integrations with other partner banks to carry out these transactions, so as not to use third-party solutions.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since the beginning of this year, Post Bank customers have transferred money abroad through the bank’s mobile application three times more often than in the same period last year, and the total volume of such transfers has doubled – most often money is sent to Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, said Vladislav Yermakov, head of Post Bank’s digital business development department.-0-<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
