{"id":251280,"date":"2023-12-29T09:40:53","date_gmt":"2023-12-29T09:40:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2023\/12\/29\/251280\/"},"modified":"2023-12-29T09:40:53","modified_gmt":"2023-12-29T09:40:53","slug":"central-bank-warns-of-illegal-activities-of-a-number-of-companies-in-armenia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2023\/12\/29\/251280\/","title":{"rendered":"Central Bank warns of illegal activities of a number of companies in Armenia"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>YEREVAN, December 29. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> Armenia&#8217;s\u00a0\u00a0Central Bank has warned citizens against entrusting their funds to such companies as IOE AI, ChargeFast, CharlesSchwab, Asos Mall, Furious, Hewlett-Packard, which are available through their websites, applications and Telegram channels, saying that their promises of bonuses in exchange for their money, including deposits are risky and may be fraught with serious financial damage and loses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Based on the fact that these companies, in fact, attract money from the population, we would like to inform that the Central Bank of Armenia has not issued licenses to these companies to carry out any type of activity, therefore, they operate outside the control of the Central Bank,&#8221; the regulator said in a statement.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The regulator noted that due to the above, it cannot control the risks from the activities of such companies and ensure proper protection of consumers&#8217; interests.
