On December 31, 2023 the state debt was worth over $11.8 billion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Of the total debt over $6.4 was was the external debt (a decrease of $19.6 mln., while the domestic debt increased by $48.2 mln. to $5.5 billion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Of the external debt the government debt decreased by $19 million to $5.9 billion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The debt of the Central Bank decreased by $531,000 to $539.7illion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Of the domestic debt, $4.9 billion&nbsp;&nbsp;(up $45.8 mln) were owed to residnet holders of government treasury bonds. The debt to resident holders of&nbsp;&nbsp;government eurobonds amounted to $517.9 mln (up $2.473 mln).
