YEREVAN, May 7. \/ARKA\/. <\/strong>On May 6 the shareholders\u2019 annual general meeting of \u201cUnibank\u201d OJSC was held. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2023, Unibank continued its stable growth and strengthening of its position in the market and achieved significant results in all areas of activity. The results of the year confirmed the effectiveness of the bank\u2019s strategy – to be an honest and reliable financial partner, to be able to listen to our clients and find solutions that are useful for people and business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the reporting period, the bank’s capital exceeded AMD 40 bln, the assets- AMD 289 bln. The bank’s loan portfolio increased by almost 25% in 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unibank completed 2023 with a profit of AMD 4.5 bln and the bank\u2019s Board decided to submit the issue of paying dividends on ordinary shares for approval to the Shareholders\u2019 Meeting. The amount of dividends will be AMD 4.1 bln. The decision to pay dividends shows the effective performance of the bank for the reporting period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to the continuous growth in all areas of activity, the bank’s shares have increased in price and are traded on the stock exchange at more than three times their nominal value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the reporting year, Unibank expanded our regional presence – today Unibank’s service network includes 50 branches and more than 100 promotional points. Meanwhile, the bank is are heading towards digitalization and introduction of high technologies. Clients are actively using the bank\u2019s mobile app, which allows them to solve daily financial issues easily. In 2023, the number of UNIMobile app users increased by almost 14%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Taking into account the growing investment demand from clients, at the end of 2023 Unibank launched brokerage service.  The mobile app Unibank Invest provides clients with the opportunity to invest in global capital markets. With Unibank Invest clients  get direct access to the world’s leading exchanges – NYSE, NASDAQ, LSE, HKEX, Xetra, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The high level of Unibank in the field of premium banking service and wealth management  is confirmed by the Euromoney award. Private banking of Unibank – Unibank Priv\u00e9 was recognized as the best in Armenia according to the Euromoney Global Private Banking Awards 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main goals of 2024 are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 Market share increase in the retail and SME segments; <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 Further development of brokerage service;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 Product portfolio expansion, including card products, cross-sales increase;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 Adherence to ESG principles and sustainable development;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 Corporate governance improvement<\/p>\n\n\n\n
