{"id":251686,"date":"2024-09-04T12:59:22","date_gmt":"2024-09-04T12:59:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2024\/09\/04\/251686\/"},"modified":"2024-09-04T12:59:22","modified_gmt":"2024-09-04T12:59:22","slug":"inflation-of-1-3-per-cent-registered-in-armenia-in-august-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2024\/09\/04\/251686\/","title":{"rendered":"Inflation of 1.3 per cent registered in Armenia in August 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>YEREVAN, 4 September. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> Consumer prices in Armenia in August 2024 were up 1.3% when compared to August last year, according to the National Statistical Committee (NSC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the same time, according to the NSC, 0.1 per cent inflation was registered in August 2024 compared to July of the same year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prices were down 0.1% in January-August 2024 compared to the same period in 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the state budget for 2024, inflation is set at 4 per cent (\u00b11.5 per cent). According to the Central Bank&#8217;s monetary policy report for the second quarter of this year, by the end of 2024, inflation is expected to be within 0.9-1.3%, the forecast for 2025 is &nbsp;3.8-3.2%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The WB expects inflation in Armenia to be 3 per cent in 2024, 3.5 per cent in 2025 and 4 per cent in 2026.
