{"id":251751,"date":"2024-10-11T14:41:37","date_gmt":"2024-10-11T14:41:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2024\/10\/11\/251751\/"},"modified":"2024-10-11T14:41:37","modified_gmt":"2024-10-11T14:41:37","slug":"armenias-100-million-loan-agreement-with-efsd-approved-by-national-assemblys-committee","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2024\/10\/11\/251751\/","title":{"rendered":"Armenia&#8217;s $100 million loan agreement with EFSD approved by National Assembly&#8217;s\u00a0 committee"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>YEREVAN, 11 October. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> The Armenian Parliament&#8217;s Committee on Financial\u00a0 and Budgetary Affairs approved\u00a0 a $100 million loan agreement with the Eurasian Fund for Stabilisation and Development (EFSD) on Friday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to &nbsp;Deputy Finance Minister Eduard Hakobyan, the funds under the agreement will be used to finance the 2024 state budget deficit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2018The agreement includes economic reforms of the government,\u2019 Hakobyan said during the discussion on ratification of the agreement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The agreement was signed on 20 May 2024, the loan is to be repaid in&nbsp; US dollars.
