{"id":251792,"date":"2024-10-24T08:23:16","date_gmt":"2024-10-24T08:23:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/2024\/10\/24\/251792\/"},"modified":"2024-10-24T08:23:16","modified_gmt":"2024-10-24T08:23:16","slug":"armenia-to-receive-e236m-loan-from-ebrd-for-sisian-qajaran-road-construction","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2024\/10\/24\/251792\/","title":{"rendered":"Armenia to receive \u20ac236m loan from EBRD for Sisian-Qajaran road construction\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>YEREVAN, October 24. \/ARKA\/. <\/strong>Armenian National Assembly approved a loan of 236 million euros from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), which will be used for the construction of the southern section of Sisian-Qajaran highway of the \u2018\u2019North-South\u2019\u2019 transport corridor.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2018\u2019It is planned to build a new 60 km long section of the road, which will increase the speed limit from 50 km\/h to 100 km\/h\u2019\u2019, Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Kristine Galechyan reported.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the project implementation, three-lane roads with asphalt concrete pavement, 5 tunnels, 11 bridges, 68 fences and 43 retaining walls will be built. The project is scheduled for completion in November 2032.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The estimated cost of the entire southern section construction project is 452 million euros.
