Surplus earnings of Armenian banks in the first half of the year jumped by 39.2% year-on-year to 21.2 billion drams, up from 15.2 billion drams from a year earlier, according to ARKA news agency\u2019s bulletin called Armenian Banks\u2019 Indicators for the second quarter of 2011.<\/p>\n<p>The total income of 20 commercial banks (out of 21) rose to 21.1 billion drams in January-June 20011 form 15 billion drams a year before, reported by 18 banks.
