YEREVAN, January 27. \/ARKA\/. All 18 Armenia-based commercial banks are in the list of 1000 largest corporate taxpayers in 2024, having paid 119.6 billion drams in various taxes, the State Revenue Committee said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It said tax authorities collected about AMD 117.9 billion, while customs authorities – AMD 1.7 billion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Some 63.4 billion drams were collected as profit tax, 42.7 billion drams as income tax, 3.9 billion drams were collected as VAT and 9.7 billion drams as other taxes and duties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The top five banks in terms of taxes paid in 2024 are Ameriabank – AMD 23.5 billion (7th place in the list of 1000 largest taxpayers), Acba Bank – AMD 13.3 billion (18th place), Inecobank – AMD 11.1 billion (23rd place), Unibank – AMD 7.9 billion (32nd place) and Converse Bank – AMD 7.8 billion (33rd place).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The list of the top 100 largest taxpayers include Ardshinbank – AMD 6.7 billion (42nd place), IDBank – AMD 6.4 billion (45th place), Araratbank – AMD 6.1 billion (48th place), Evocabank – AMD 5.6 billion (51st place), VTB Bank (Armenia) – AMD 5.4 billion (54th place), Armeconombank – AMD 5.2 billion (56th place), Ardshininvestbank (former HSBC Bank Armenia ) – AMD 5 bln (63rd place), AMIO BANK – AMD 4.5 bln (68th place) and Fast Bank – AMD 4.1 bln (74th place).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
ArmSwissbank paid 2.9 billion drams (108th place), Mellat Bank – 1.51 billion drams (203rd place), Artsakhbank – 1.47 billion drams (211th place) and Byblos Bank Armenia – 1.1 billion drams (291st place).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
