A decline in the industrial sector (-19.4% year-on-year) and negative dynamics in exports (-50.7% year-on-year) and imports (-45.8% year-on-year) persisted due to the exhaustion of the positive effect from the increased foreign trade and precious metals processing at the beginning of last year,&#8221; the macroeconomic review states.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The EDB expects economic activity to accelerate in the second half of the year as industrial output recovers, forecasting Armenia&#8217;s GDP growth to reach 5.5% in 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Economic Growth Figures and Forecasts for Armenia:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Armenia&#8217;s economic growth in the state budget for 2025 is projected at 5.1%. According to the Central Bank&#8217;s monetary policy report for the first quarter of 2025, Armenia&#8217;s GDP growth is expected to range from 7% to 4.8% by the end of 2025, from 4.7% to 4.1% in 2026, and from 4.7% to 6.1% in 2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The EDB forecasts Armenia&#8217;s GDP growth to be 5.5% in 2025. The World Bank expects a growth of 5% in 2025, the IMF forecasts 4.9%, the EBRD anticipates 4.8%, and the ADB projects 6%. According to Fitch Ratings, Armenia&#8217;s economy is expected to grow by 4.9% in 2025, while the UN forecasts a 5.2% growth for 2025 and 4.7% for 2026.
