YEREVAN, April 4. \/AR\u041a\u0410\/. Yesterday, Armenian Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan received a delegation led by Iva Petrova, head of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission in Armenia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the press service of the ministry, the parties discussed the prospects for cooperation between the Armenian government and the IMF, the latest trends in the country’s economic development, steps to diversify the economy, as well as existing risks and possible ways to eliminate them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The topics discussed also included export strategy and policy priorities in this area, attracting international partners and effective investment management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Particular attention was paid to the effectiveness of the state support programs implemented by the Ministry of Economy, as well as large investment projects being implemented in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
