{"id":262948,"date":"2025-04-10T14:08:59","date_gmt":"2025-04-10T10:08:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/?p=262948"},"modified":"2025-04-10T14:09:00","modified_gmt":"2025-04-10T10:09:00","slug":"adb-forecasts-inflation-in-armenia-at-3-in-2025-and-2-8-in-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2025\/04\/10\/262948\/","title":{"rendered":"ADB forecasts inflation in Armenia at 3% in 2025 and 2.8% in 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>YEREVAN, April 10. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> The Asian Development Bank (ADB) forecasts inflation in Armenia at 3% in 2025, said Don Lambert, Director of the Bank\u2019s Resident Mission in Armenia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIn 2026, inflation will decline to 2.8%,\u201d Lambert said in response to a question from the ARKA agency during the presentation of the ADB\u2019s report <em>\u201cAsian Development Outlook \u2013 2025.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Armstat, Armenia\u2019s 12-month consumer inflation in March of this year was 3.3%, and 0.5% compared to February.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the 2025 state budget of Armenia, inflation is projected at 3% (\u00b11%). According to the Central Bank\u2019s monetary policy report for Q1, inflation is expected to be within 2.4\u20132.6% by the end of 2025. The forecast for 2026 is 2.9\u20133.1%, and for 2027 \u2013 3%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The World Bank expects inflation in Armenia to reach 3.5% in 2025 and 4% in 2026. The IMF forecasts price growth of 3.7% in 2025. According to ADB\u2019s projections, inflation in Armenia will be 2.5% in 2025.
