YEREVAN, July 25. \/ARKA\/. As part of the Sevan Agritech Summit, held in partnership with Acba Bank, the ACBA Federation presented opportunities for developing, digitizing, and supporting innovative agriculture in Armenia. They also discussed how to make agriculture an attractive industry for young people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The ACBA Federation has partnered with and consulted over 80 startups from idea to business. Over the past two years, the Federation has organized training courses for approximately 600 farms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“We are working in several areas to develop innovative agriculture in Armenia. One of the most important areas is education, especially among young farmers. The second area is working with startups, where many of the participants are young. The third area is disseminating innovations that do not require large investments. The most important component we focus on is increasing financial literacy, which we achieve by organizing relevant courses,” noted Harutyun Poghosyan, CEO of the ACBA Federation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Through its activities, the Acba Federation promotes the balanced development of innovative agriculture and rural communities. The Federation strives to create a business environment in which rural residents can envision a future for themselves in their communities by living, working, and creating there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Acba Federation owns more than 81% of Acba Bank\u2019s shares. The Federation promotes the development of agriculture and small-to-medium-sized businesses in rural areas, community development, and the revival and growth of the business environment in rural areas and communities throughout Armenia.
