{"id":265832,"date":"2025-08-06T10:07:46","date_gmt":"2025-08-06T06:07:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/?p=265832"},"modified":"2025-08-06T10:13:50","modified_gmt":"2025-08-06T06:13:50","slug":"net-inflow-of-money-transfers-to-armenia-from-abroad-decreased-by-1-3-in-half-year","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2025\/08\/06\/265832\/","title":{"rendered":"Net inflow of money transfers to Armenia from abroad decreased by 1.3% in half-year"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>YEREVAN, August 6. \/ARKA\/.<\/strong> The net inflow of private money transfers from abroad through the banking system of  Armenia in January-June 2025 amounted to $587.6 million against $595.4 million in January-June 2024, according to the Central Bank.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thus, this indicator decreased by about 1.3% year-on-year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the same time, in June of this year, the net inflow amounted to $75.9 million against $146 million in June last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The inflow of private cross-border money transfers from abroad through the banking system  in the first half of this year amounted to $2.8 billion against $2.5 billion in the same period last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among the leaders in money transfers to Armenia are Russia with $1.8 billion and the United States with $327.6 million. At the same time, Russia and the United States were the leaders in the first half of last year as well ($1.6 billion and $325.3 million, respectively).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The outflow of money transfers abroad for January-June 2025 amounted to $2.2 billion against $1.9 billion for the same period in 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The UAE ($343.5 million) and Switzerland ($343.3 million) are the leaders in money transfers from Armenia abroad over the six months.
