YEREVAN, September 1. \/ARKA\/. Armenia is set to receive 45.3 million euros from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to enhance the quality of healthcare, as stated by Lena Nanushyan, the First Deputy Minister of Health , during a session of the parliamentary standing committee on financial, credit, and budgetary matters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to her, the loan initiative is designed to ensure quality within the healthcare system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Enhancing quality encompasses various aspects \u2013 upgrading infrastructure, streamlining processes, gathering data on medical services, developing quality programs, executing campaigns, and other related activities,” Nanushyan remarked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The deputy minister indicated that the loan, which carries a floating interest rate of 3.11%, has a duration of 18 years with a 7-year grace period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As previously mentioned by ADB Country Director for Armenia, Don Lambert, the Health Quality Improvement Program is intended to modernize 24 healthcare facilities, bolster the capacity to deliver quality health services, and enhance monitoring and reporting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
