Annual inflation rose to 3.6 percent in August, up from 3.4 percent in July, according to the World Bank&#8217;s &#8220;Armenia Monthly Economic Update \u2013 September 2025.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Inflation remained high for food and non-alcoholic beverages (4.9 percent), alcoholic beverages (6.6 percent), education (7.8 percent), and transport (6 percent),&#8221; the study notes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Inflation Figures and Forecasts<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Armenia&#8217;s 2025 state budget projects inflation at 3% (\u00b11%). According to the Central Bank&#8217;s monetary policy report for the second quarter of this year, inflation in Armenia is expected to be 3.4-3.2% by the end of 2025, depending on scenario (A-B), with a forecast of 3.2-2.9% for 2026 and 3.2-3.1% for 2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The World Bank expects inflation in Armenia to be 3.5% in 2025 and 4% in 2026. The IMF forecasts prices in Armenia to grow by 3.3% in 2025 and 3% in 2026. The Asian Development Bank (ADB) forecasts inflation in Armenia to be 2.5% in 2025.
