YEREVAN, October 6. \/ARKA\/. In its weekly macroeconomic review, the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) has maintained its forecast for consumer price growth in Armenia, indicating that it will remain within the target range set by the Central Bank for this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“In September, inflation in Armenia was recorded at 3.7% year-on-year, an increase from 3.6% year-on-year in August. The growth of food prices accelerated in September to 5.8% year-on-year, up from 4.9% year-on-year in the previous month, influenced by the trends in international food prices. Conversely, inflation in the services sector decreased to 2.8% year-on-year from 3.2% year-on-year the month before, and in the non-food segment, it fell to 0.9% year-on-year from 1.1% year-on-year in the prior month, according to the study.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The state budget of Armenia for 2025 anticipates an inflation rate of 3% (\u00b11%).
