We successfully pass an external audit every year,&#8221; Komitas Stepanyan, head of the Central Bank&#8217;s IT and Cybersecurity Directorate, told Novosti-Armenia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He stated that since 2012, this standard has become a mandatory requirement for banks and credit institutions in the country. As a regulator, the Central Bank inspects their activities, warns of violations, and can fine or even revoke their licenses.<br>Stepanyan emphasized that the Central Bank is extremely demanding of banks when it comes to cybersecurity.
