YEREVAN, December 1. \/ARKA\/. According to the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) forecasts, Armenia’s economic growth will remain high until the end of 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the EDB’s macroeconomic review, economic activity in Armenia accelerated to 8.1% y\/y in January\u2013October 2025, following 7.6% y\/y in January\u2013September.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Growth was driven by the services sector (+10.8% y\/y) and construction (+20.6% y\/y). The acceleration was also driven by strong growth in the industrial sector (+17.9% y\/y in October),” the study notes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It notes that negative export and import dynamics persisted in January\u2013October (-44.3% y\/y and -31.2% y\/y, respectively), following the high figures of the previous year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Armenia’s economic growth projected in the 2025 state budget is 5.1%. According to the Central Bank, Armenia’s GDP growth is expected to be 5.8-5.7% by the end of 2025, 5.7-6.2% in 2026, and 5-6.3% in 2027, depending on scenarios A and B.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
