In terms of money it was equal to 228.8 billion drams. The figure, however, represented a 0.9% decline from June. Some 21.7% of total loans or 227.9 billion drams (a 2.6% rise from June) were channelled into trade.<\/p>\n<p>Some 17.8% of the loans were consumer credits, which decreased by 0.9% from June to about 186.8 billion drams. Mortgage loans reached about 100.6 billion drams, having increased by almost 6% from the previous month.<\/p>\n<p>Some 93.9 billion drams were channelled into construction sector (a 7.6% growth compared to the previous month). Agricultural lending increased by 3.1% to more than 68.5 billion drams. Loans to services sector dropped by 9.3% to 44.3 billion drams and loans to transport and communications sector slashed by 9.8% to about 34.4 billion drams.
