{"id":271205,"date":"2026-03-09T20:24:04","date_gmt":"2026-03-09T16:24:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/?p=271205"},"modified":"2026-03-09T20:25:00","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T16:25:00","slug":"edb-forecasts-consumer-price-growth-in-armenia-of-3-3-y-y-by-the-end-of-this-year","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armbanks.am\/en\/2026\/03\/09\/271205\/","title":{"rendered":"EDB forecasts consumer price growth in Armenia of 3.3% y\/y by the end of this year"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>YEREVAN, March 9. \/ARKA\/. <\/strong>The EDB forecasts consumer price growth in Armenia of 3.3% y\/y by the end of this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Inflation in Armenia amounted to 4.3% y\/y in February 2026, after 3.8% y\/y the previous month,&#8221; the EDB said in its weekly macroeconomic review.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is noted that the acceleration was driven by the dynamics of food prices (6.4% y\/y in February after 5.9% y\/y in January).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Inflation in the services segment accelerated less \u2013 to 3.2% y\/y from 2.9% y\/y in January, while the growth of prices for non-food products remained at 0.9% y\/y,&#8221; EDB analysts note.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Armenia&#8217;s 2026 state budget projects inflation at 3% (\u00b11%).
